Heritagemotorcycleshipping.com BBB Business Review

Need to ship your ride? Then read on....

May 15, 2025

I am not affiliated with either Heritage Motorcycles Shipping or CRST, my motorcycle is really only of value to me.

My wife and I are moving from California to the Midwest. The plan was to crate the KTM and have a road trip. Then our plans changed and the road trip was off. I began to research motorcycle shipping companies. Turned out that most shippers do not handle crated machines. Then I found Heritage Motorcycles Shipping (https://heritagemotorcycleshipping.com/) and spoke with Mary Lou. Just moments into the conversation it was obvious that I was dealing with a clear and direct communicator, who knew how to get things done. We set a pick-up and delivery date, the truck arrived on me, loaded the crate and off it went. My next communication was with Shari McKnew who handles sales and book keeping. Shari is also a proactive, clear and direct communicator. In my view a company could have no better representatives to its customers than Mary Lou and Shari. A real dynamic duo.

Fast forwarding the story, I flew to the destination to receive the shipment and it became clear that it was not going to happen. The motorcycle arrived at the St. Louis terminal as planned, but missed the once weekly shipment to my area. This is where the true character of a company and all its marketing slogans and satisfaction claims get put to

the test.

It is now Friday; I am scheduled to return home on Saturday. Meaning there would be no one at the destination to receive the shipment. Mary Lou and Shari start investigating, researching alternate solutions, emails start flying around, Cc: list is growing. I am thinking that the crate is going to have to sit in storage for a month or so until my next visit. Then I get a call from Jamie Ellenberger Director of Customer Service, CRST The Transportation Solution. Jamie says that she had been monitoring the email traffic on my case and wanted to speak to me directly. As the reader, stop for a moment and absorb what is happening here.

At 8:30pm, I get a call indicating that a special delivery had been arranged and should arrive 12:30am! After the delivery was completed, I just couldn’t help myself, so I uncrated the KTM to have a look. It arrived in perfect condition. Time was 2:30am on Saturday.

Mary Lou and Shari took ownership of the problem working tirelessly to find a solution, Jamie was instrumental at the 11th hour in getting all the moving parts to work together.

All in all, Heritage and CRST accomplished what most would have considered impossible.

If you need to ship your ride, these are the kind of professional and dedicated people you want handling it.

WOW!

The driver had to come across some very icy roads and faced storms and winds and terrible road conditions. They probably drove right on thru the Super Bowl Game. They arrived on the very first day they estimated they would.

You promised me that you would take very good care of my motorcycle. You certainly did. I was amazed that they were able to deliver it in such a short time under the weather conditions they must have encountered. It seems all of this was done above and beyond the call of duty.

All of my concerns were handled by you favorably and immediately. I was treated with utmost of respect and courtesy.

I will happily recommend Allied Shipping of Motorcycles to anyone planning to ship their cherished toy. Thank you for a job well done!

I just want to thank you for the great service and attention to detail on my transport and delivery of my motorcycle. Alot of things dont get me nervous but the transport of my motorcycle by someone other then myself usually gives me cause for concern. Not this time!! The entire process was outstanding and coordinated perfectly. Mary Lou I really appreciate all that you did for me! You are a superstar in my book and when I go out west next year I will definitely use you to ship my bike. Take care and god bless
